The Centre for Research, Training and Publications (CRTP) conducted a training on agribusiness skills in Kwale County as part of its capacity-building efforts under the Environmental Advocacy Support in Extractive Industries (EASEI) project. The workshop, facilitated by Mr. Mwangala Mwajuma, took place over three days, from 4th to 6th June 2025. The training followed an experiential learning model, with the first two days focused on theory and the final day dedicated to practical demonstrations on participants’ farms. A total of 16 participants attended the training, representing the four groups that CRTP has been working with in the implementation of the EASEI project. On 7th June 2025, the group leaders took part in a discussion on the project’s sustainability plan, led by Rev. Prof. Elias Opongo and Ms. Lilian Melino. The leaders explored strategies for continuing the project after the funding ends
